Hope and Cheerfulness

SD card screwed up on my Nexus One

Argh... tried ddrescue and just dd, use autopsy/sleuthkit to figure out the partition offset by bytes, tried mounting the recovered image file, no luck. keep on getting this crap:

In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
dmesg | tail or so

I am glad I did a backup, but not so glad that it's been a while (1 month+)...

Firefox for android (beta) looking real good. ui is nicely designed. great potentials. oddness: install takes out about 30 MB rom space, though it offloaded a lot to SD now still takes about 17mb and that's before factoring cache and installing and plugin.

also I miss to find a switch for user-agent. and seems like its loading google.com in desktop browser mode

Tough week - SICK!

Everyone was sick this past week. We even lost track of how this one gets started. Any how, Cyrus started a fever past weekend, and went thru 4 days of fever (2 days b4 and 2 days after seeing his doctor). All the running nose, mucus productive coughing, vomiting, fever, rubbing his face until they are broken.. etc are back again. Then I got sick too, just stuffy nose and minor coughing fit. A day later, Kristie gets even sicker than me, she even feel light header and feverish...

Anyway, I am enjoying a bit of peach and quiet time laying on my couch, staring into the dark, listening to lala.com and blog a bit, before going back to antibiotics and coughing syrups...

Headache, stress from home...

Woke up with a headache again. No stuffy nose. Perhaps caused by stress from work and home? Kristie's feeling ill on her back (chronic), her hand (bruised recently), her cold (started yesterday, again) so her temper became very ill too... I think I am gonna watch a movie tonight, if this headache is gone.
